The Yangtze River is the longest river in Asia, the third longest river in the World.  It stretches from the Tibetan Plateau to the South China Sea.  The riverside scenery is stunningly beautiful, the most famous highlights being the Three Gorges and what better way to see them than on a leisurely cruise.  Below are several cruising options which can easily be added to any Chinese holiday itinerary.

3 Night / 4 Day Cruise - Downstream Itinerary

Day 1 - 21.00 hrs Depart Chongqing

Day 2 - Shore excursion to Shibaozhai or Wanzhou.

Day 3 - Sail through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge.  Excursion to the Daning River Small Gorges or Shennong Stream.  Sail through Three Gorges ship locks

Day 4 - 08.00 hrs Arrive Yang Jia Wang.

               Morning visit to the Three Gorges   Dam Site

               12.00 hrs disembark Yichang

Day 1 - 11.00 hrs Depart Chongqing.  Afternoon shore excursion to Fengdu

               18.00 hrs Sail through the Three Gorges Dam Ship locks.

Day 3 - 08.00 hrs Morning excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site.

               11.00 hrs Reboard the ship at Yichang dock.

Day 4 - 12.00 hrs Excursion to Wuhan and the Hubei Provisional Museum.

Day 5 - 09.00 hrs Shore excursion to Huangshan (Yellow Mountain).

Day 6 - Full day tour of Nanjing including Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and a         

          Qing Dynasty style bazaar which surrounds a Confucian Temple.

Day 2 - Morning visit to the Three Gorges Sam Site.  Sail through the Three Gorges shiplocks and Xiling Gorge

Day 3 - Excursion to Daning River Small Gorges or Shennong Stream.  Pass through Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge
