Lego Themes
Lego ninjago is not the only themed set that the Lego Group has released. Indeed, the Lego Group have released sets with themes including robots, pirates, castles, dinosaurs, space, town and city, wild west, undersea exploration, Vikings, and trains. When the Lego Group releases a new set, the Group also releases new elements to compliment the new set. Lego, initially perceived to be a boy’s toy, has also released sets that are geared towards young girls such as the Clikits and the Belville lines. These two lines consist of small parts that interlock which are engineered to encourage arts and crafts, just like regular Lego bricks. There is no strict separation between the female and male Lego sets however, as the Belville and Clikit pieces can interlock with the regular Lego pieces.

There are no directly military-themed sets though there are some that may seem to have a military theme such as the Toy Story green soliders, or the Russian and German soldiers in the Indiana Jones sets. The reason behind this is Ole Kirk Christiansen himself who wanted to ensure war did not seem like a game for children.
