Koh Samui

Situated in the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Samui is the country's third largest island.  The island has been welcoming visitors for a number of years, however, Koh Samui still retains its natural charm and has many secluded beaches just waiting to be discovered.

Chaweng on the east coast is home to the longest and most beautiful stretch of beach on the island.  There are a high concentration of hotels in the resort and subsequently many different watersports are available during the day.  Whilst in the evening the resort comes alive with bars and restaurants.

Along the northern coast you will find Maenam, Bophut and Bang Rak beaches, these areas are ideal for visitors wanting to unwind in a more relaxed atmosphere.  Often known as Big Bhudda Beach, Ban Rak is overlooked by a huge golden statue of Bhudda, which is particularly spectacular at sunset.

Other attractions include the stunning Na Muang Waterfall which plunges 20 metres.    The enchanting Samui Butterfly Garden in the south east of Koh Samui is home to hundreds of colourful butterflies and is a wonderful alternative to another day on the beach!  The picturesque islands of Koh Tao and Koh Phangnan are also just a short ferry ride away.
