Highlights of China

Days 1 & 2

Fly with British Airways from London Heathrow to Beijing, on arrival you will be met and transferred to the Novotel Xinqiao Hotel for a three night stay.

Day 3

After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Tiananmen Square, the impressive Forbidden City and the mystical Summer Palace, the largest imperial gardens in the world.

Day 4

Following breakfast, you will visit the awe-inspiring Great Wall of China and the Ming Tombs of Dingling and the Scared Way.

Day 5

After breakfast you will have a guided tour of the Temple of Heaven and Wangfujing Street Beijing’s famous shopping area.  You will then have a tour by rickshaw of Beijing’s hutongs, ancient alleys and lanes winding through the city.  Following the tour you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Xian.  On arrival in Xian you will be met and transferred to the Bell Tower Hotel for a two night stay.

Day 6

Following breakfast you will enjoy a full day guided tour of the incredible Terra Cotta Warriors and the Stone Tablet Museum.

Day 7

After breakfast, there will be a sightseeing tour of the City Wall the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.  You will later transfer to the airport for your flight to Guilin.   On arrival in Guilin you will be transferred to the Bravo Hotel for a two night stay.                                                                 

Day 8

Following breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing cruise on the River Li to Yansghuo, where you will have free time to experience the Yangshuo Farmers’ Market, later returning to Guilin.

 Day 9

After breakfast you will have a guided tour of Reed Flute Cave and Fupo Hill, and then transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Shanghai.  On arrival in Shanghai you will be met and transferred to the Park Hotel for a two night stay.

Day 10

Today you will have a guided tour of the River Bund, Yuyuan Garden, the Pudong District and walking tour of Nanjing Road.

Day 11

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Shanghai Airport for your flight to London Heathrow with British Airways.
