This tour takes you to the serene Royal Temple at Mengwi with its impressive architecture and moat. Followed by the monkey forest at Kedaton where giant bats nestle in the tree tops.  The final visit is to the famous holy temple of Tanah Lot which is perched dramatically on the top of a large black lava rock 200 metres off shore.  Sea snakes at the base of the temple are believed to guard the temple from evil spirits.

Volcano and Essence of Bali - From £64.00 per person 

Moving away from the main tourist areas of Bali, your first visit on this tour will be to Belok Sidan a small farming village, here you can obtain an insight into the traditional Balinese way of life.  You will then climb Penulisan Hill to visit Penulisan Temple, the archaeological remains  here date back to the 11th Century.  You will stop for lunch (at own expense) at the Kintamani Restaurant which has a stunning location on top of the crater rim of Mt. Batur.  From here you can enjoy breathtaking views of the crater, lake and lava flows.  Following lunch continue to Kehen Temple at Bangli Regent, this is one of the most impressive temples on Bali and it also dates back to the 11th century.  During the return journey to your hotel you pass through the villages of Ubud known for its excellent art galleries, Mas which renowned for its wood carvings and Celuk known for its excellent gold and silver jewellery.
